Hello internet! I’m Jason, builder of Bad Gunpla and founder of Plastic Model Weekender.

What started as an idea to get a bunch of my fellow plastic model content creators together for a fun weekend has quickly become one of the largest – if not the largest – online modelmaking charity event in only a few short years. I am absolutely floored by the immense outpouring of support for our past two annual events, and I truly cannot thank you enough for tuning in, sharing the event with your friends, and giving generously to an amazing cause.

PMW enters its fourth year this year, and thanks to your amazing support, we have raised over $45,000 combined for our good friends at Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. If you’re not already familiar, CAF is a non-profit organization focused on funding research projects with the highest probability of preventing, treating, and curing Alzheimer’s Disease. 100% of all donations go directly to research, and you can learn about the projects your donations have helped fund at the link below:

It is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, as well as many others I’ve spoken with in the modelmaking community, and I’m thrilled that we get to support them again this year.
